The T1 Internet connection comes in assorted packages. The amount of such access may depend on the

Lite supplied, it can be done with the POD, but nothing really works perfectly. The current versions
are freeware and are available for downloads on the company website. The installation of the POD is
designed so that you can take it somewhere quickly and easily to any computer running. It works very
good.
On Processing
Anybody’s first impression of the PC POD would be, "Wow! But why is it so tiny?” With the dimensions
44 mm x 16 mm x 7 mm (L x W x H) it is just as long as the diameter of the Suunto Internet T3 gadget.
The case of the POD is a matte black plastic. This is good to the touch and makes a very classy look.
The cap of the USB connector is form-fitting and does not rattle. When closed, the PC POD gives the
impression that it can survive even when wet. You can try it but should rather not. The processing of the
device is very compact and makes a robust impression.
On Data Transfer
Let's make it short: Again, there are no complaints. It works like Internet connection T3 within a room.
The POD receives signals without interruption of the chest strap. Outside a room, of course, it’s closing
with the connection. The high transmission frequencies do not go so well through walls. But as long
as it is within the reception area of the belt, it is automatically detected and continues the data transfer.
The coupling of the heart rate monitor is done by pressing a button on the clock. The transmission of a
maximum of 15 entries in the log, the Internet T3 is completed in 10 to 20 seconds.
What Does It Cost?
Here come (as always) the typical cons: The PC POD beats with a list price of 99.95 EUR. This is a really
steep price for such a small gadget. However, several price comparison tools on the Internet that try on a
new PC POD can easily be found for 60 EUR.
What’s the Conclusion?
The conclusion is not quite yet established. For what is hardware without their software? This gets into
one's own brief experience report devoted. Otherwise this article would have kicked over the traces.
However, from hardware point of view the PC POD has now convinced many. The downer is just
the price. This confirms once again that the PC POD is at a powerful "premium" priced. Whether the
purchase is still worthwhile, you will know when the review of the Training Manager Lite is available.
But if these “other” things do not matter to you, because all you want is a small gadget with an Internet
connection T3 capability, then this is the deal.
